One of the biggest problems we face with exterior finishes is the total disregard by some General Contractors and other trades for finished surfaces. If you aren't going to protect finished surfaces then make sure to run these finishes last especially in high traffic / work ares. Trowel applied finishes apply very fast so whats the rush? Make sure that the trades are finished with their work before you apply textured finishes!!!
